Yaron Lambez was born in Bat-Yam in 1975. He was interested in drawing, painting and arts from a young age, but he also had an adventurous spirit, so, when he was 21, he decided to start travelling around the World.
After discovering several regions of Africa on his own, Yaron planned to go to South America, first stopping in the Canary Islands (Spain). The artist was captivated by the beauty of the islands in such manner, that he decided to stay, finishing his first canvas in La Gomera, in 2000, inspired by a small acrylic drawing he had jotted in his diary when he was in Malawi.
For the following years he learnt from other artists and art books, experiencing with acrylics and watercolours. He worked for local businesses and Administrations, also running his own art studio for several years. In this time, he created over 600 paintings (acrylic on canvas), as well as over 15 murals and other various artistic projects.
In 2014 he made it to one of the oldest and most prestigious art galleries in Scotland, Rendez-Vous Gallery (Aberdeen) with a solo exhibition under the title “La Gomera”. In 2016 he was invited to participate in a collective art exhibition in Milano, Poetiche Contemporee, with other international artists.
Since 2015, the artist has been searching for inspiration in Tenerife, experimenting with new techniques and colours, exhibiting in some of the island’s most relevant locations: Abama Luxury Residences, Gran Meliá Palacio de Isora, Golf Costa Adeje, Plaza del Duque, The Duke Shops and Royal Hideaway Corales Suites, where his gallery’s exhibitions room is currently located.
